Benjamin Lai
Managing director
Benjamin Lai, a Taiwanese-American cellist, began his musical journey in California, receiving cello lessons at the age of four from Mikhail Gelfandbein, a student of Mstislav Rostropovich. His childhood was spent in cosmopolitan cities like New York, Beijing, Munich, and Paris. At 14, he moved to Berlin, studying under Prof. Jens Peter Maintz. Benjamin continued his education with Prof. Heinrich Schiff in Vienna and Prof. Julian Steckel in Munich. He currently prepares for his concert exam at Lübeck University with Prof. Troels Svane. Benjamin attended master classes by renowned cellists including Starker, Ma, and Geringas. As a prize winner of international competitions, he has performed at esteemed venues like Berlin's Konzerthaus and Vienna's Musikverein. Benjamin also excels as a chamber musician, appearing at renowned festivals. He plays a Domenico Montagnana cello ("ex-Olevsky," Venice 1735).
Egon Tietz
Architect
Egon Tietz, a skilled designer and interior architect, started as a model carpenter in Germany. Graduating in 1982, he studied interior architecture, furniture, and industrial design at the Gesamthochschule Kassel. Egon's passion for merging design with craftsmanship led him to found the Design & Handicraft studio community. His unique background and commitment to excellence shape his contributions in the field.
Christiane Tietz

Christiane Tietz, an accomplished architect, graduated from Munich University of Applied Sciences. She collaborated with renowned firms like Hilmer & Sattler and Fulgosy, gaining valuable experience. Her project work at the IIT Madras in India expanded her global perspective. With a diploma in 1987, Christiane established herself as a qualified professional. She became a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Architects in 1989 and the Berlin Chamber of Architects in 2002, showcasing her commitment to excellence.
Thomas Bohne
Architect
Thomas Bohne is an architect specializing in experimental architecture, design, research, and theory. He holds a B.A from Alanus University and an M.A from the University of Arts Berlin. With diverse experiences at Meiré und Meiré, BeL - Sozietät für Architektur, and Thomas Kröger Architekten, Thomas gained valuable practical insights. As a student assistant in Design and Computation and Digital and Experimental Design, he contributed to cutting-edge research. Co-founding Stammpunkt, Thomas channels his vision into innovative architectural solutions, constantly pushing boundaries. His holistic approach and passion for exploration continue to shape the future of architecture.
Joshua Park
Tonmeister
Joshua Park is a Tonmeister (M.Mus., University of the Arts Berlin, UdK) specializing in recordings that unite musical sensitivity with technical precision. With a strong foundation as a classically trained violinist and guitarist (B.Mus., UdK), he brings a musician’s perspective to every stage of sound production. His professional development has included work at world-renowned venues and studios such as the Berliner Philharmonie, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Emil Berliner Studios, and Genuin Classics. He continues to collaborate closely with the Gewandhaus. Based primarily at Tonhain—one of Berlin’s most modern recording studios—Joshua works with a wide range of professional musicians to create recordings that are both artistically compelling and technically refined.
